Cookies for Santa

A family tradition in our family is to leave cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. This year Hannah got her first "taste" of the special occasion. Everything started out great but went South from there!

Hannah didn't understand that the cookies went on the plate... 

instead she thought it was for her. 

Here is her guilty but satisfied look after she "tasted" the tradition.

Of course, Hannah got upset after we took the cookie away and placed it on the plate.

I guess we will have to try again next year to teach her this tradition!
